The Relay For Life of Ann Arbor is passing the torch of HOPE to YOU.
Please sign up to walk for this event which benefits the American Cancer Society. We ask that two people sign up to walk each hour. Our goal is to have 2 people walking every hour for 24 hours!

Taste of Ann Arbor

Taste is a very fun event that is taking place in downtown Ann Arbor on Main Street on Sunday June 1st.

Area restaurants descend upon the town and offer tastes of all their food outside on the street for a nominal fee. Main street is closed down to traffic and thousands of people show up to listen to music, eat great food, and socialize.

The Jaycees are central to this event. We sell pop and water (lots of it) from 11am - 5pm and we help setup and tear down the tents and tables before and after the event.

There are 3 shifts available to sign up for:

7am - 12pm (mostly setup)
12pm - 4pm
2pm - 7pm (includes taking down the tents)

For every shift you sign up for, you will be entered into a drawing to win a $10 gift card to Meijer's!

In honor of the Summer Olympics, we are planning a summer of fun together with the Ypsilanti Jaycees! We'll be competing monthly this summer:

Putt Putt Golf Competition on Sunday, June 8th
Bowling Extravaganza on Friday, July 25th
Kickball Challenge on Saturday, August 9th

Location details will be released soon! For each event, we'll be getting together with the Ypsilanti Jaycee chapter to have some fun and good-spirited competition!

This is a large staffing project that will potentially raise $2000 for the Ann Arbor Jaycees. We will need 2 people to man each barricade and direct traffic along Main Street. There are approximately 25-30 barricades, so we will need lots of help. We will need about 25 people from about 1pm.

There will be a committee meeting for this event on May 13th, 7pm at Cubs AC.
