What the Jaycees Mean to You: The Jaycees for me is a place where I can funnel some of my creative energy to make a difference in my local community. The Jaycees has way more to offer than I could ever take advantage of, but it allows me to pick and choose the events that I find interesting and are valuable to my personal growth.
Other Info / Interests: If you don’t know I am originally from Escanaba (in da UP). I went to Michigan Tech for both my bachelors and master’s degrees in Environmental Engineering. Coming from “the north” I enjoy many outdoor activities (fishing, hunting, boating, biking, jogging, etc..), but I also enjoy some of the “city life” such as walking around downtown on a warm (or cold) day. I take my dog everywhere I can and work only as much as I need to!

What the Jaycees Mean to You: The Jaycees mean personal growth for me. I joined because I was new in town and I wanted to really embrace this fresh start. I've always been the type to be involved, but only if my friends were doing it with me. This is the first thing I've done all on my own and though it's been slow progress over this past year, I'm already more confident in my professional life, as well as my personal life!
Other Info / Interests: I have 1.5 year old puppy called Edison, named after Thomas Edison because I developed a love for history and this particular figure during my employment at The Henry Ford. Throughout high school and college, I was really involved in kid-related volunteer programs, and look forward to bringing some of that passion to this position!
