Our Signature Projects
| Every year our membership takes a survey to decide what projects they want to run. However, there are key projects that our chapters executes every year. |
Annual Easter Egg Scramble:
| The Annual Easter Egg Scramble started in 1998 has grown to the point where we have several hundred children and their parents participating in a morning of egg hunts, face painting, photo opportunities with the bunny and Easter egg coloring. Originally held in Veterans Park, 2011 saw the Easter Egg Scramble relocate to Buhr Park. In 2011, the chapter held their 13th annual event. |

| In 2011 the Jaycees continued to host this annual event, which is usually held one weekend in July. Keep an eye out for our advertisments on the radio, in the news and on posters around town for the next carnival season. | |||
4th of July Parade:

In 1993, the City of Ann Arbor approached the Jaycees and asked them to take over the planning of the Annual 4th of July Parade, which was just in its third year. The Jaycees accepted the challenge and managed to pull it off with only a few months of organizing. The staging area was at that time located off S. University and E. University. In 1994, the staging area was moved to the Maynard / Thompson area, where it remains today. The parade route encircles the streets of State, Liberty, Main and William. 2011 was the 21st year of the parade. |

Holiday Helpers:
| This is our opportunity to bring cheer to young children in our community just before the holidays. Working with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Washtenaw County, children are taken on a shopping spree for gifts for family members. After shopping the Bigs and Littles join us for gift wrapping and a pizza party. |
